The 2015 Long Beach Regional was held Oct. 24 at Veterans Memorial Stadium on the campus of Long Beach City College. Ayala beat second place Upland by over three points.
Analysis
With Cedar Ridge not in attendance this year, this competition becomes was much less exciting and returned to the guarantee of Ayala's dominance.
Upland and Vista Murrieta were very evenly matched competitors and could work their way up to challenge Ayala over the next couple of years.
The rest of finals was about as scattered as we predicted. With so many new and returning groups and the addition of the American Canyon Regional, we had no idea what would happen.
We’re excited to see the growth of this regional over the past couple of years. In fact, this regional has grown so much that even with about 8 groups dropping out to compete at the new Northern California regional in American Canyon, this regional still has a very healthy enrollment when compared to other regionals to the east.
