The 2019 Johnson City Regional will be held Oct. 12 at the ETSU/MSHA Athletics Center, also known as the Mini-Dome. Bands of America last held an event at the Mini-Dome in 2003.
Bassett, Kennesaw Mountain, and Lafayette are a few of the groups aiming to walk away with a medal, but it'll be a close race. Each of these groups has their own strengths they bring, and it'll be interesting to see who's able to finish on top.
A couple other groups to pay attention to include Green Hope, Russell County, and White Knoll. These groups were all named regional finalists at 2018 events, and will be in the running to round out the top half of finals this year in Johnson City.

Brief Preview
With the shift from the Carolinas over to East Tennessee, there's a pretty different contingent of bands competing this year. However, the absence of Wando and Fort Mill, should pave the way for a clear Dobyns-Bennett victory. |
