The Louisville Regional saw a close contest between Indiana powerhouses Avon and Carmel. While Carmel won the regional and every caption in finals, Avon was able to take the visual caption during prelims. These two groups will be an exciting pair to watch as they continue to compete multiple times throughout the season in local, regional, and national events.

Fellow Indiana bands Castle and Center Grove took the third and fourth placements overall, with Castle earning the higher scores musically and Center Grove scoring better visually. Campbell County and Lakota East rounded out the top half of finals in fifth and sixth place.

In Whitewater, severe weather led to the cancellation of finals, but all 10 bands were luckily able to perform in prelims. Based on those prelims performances, Prospect was named regional champion, winning the music, visual, and general effect captions. Plainfield North finished second, trailing Prospect by about 3 points, with Irondale earning third place.
