The 2019 Bakersfield Regional will be held Nov. 2 at Bakersfield College in Bakersfield, California. In 2018, Ayala defeated Vista Murrieta to earn the regional champion title.

Quick Thoughts
With only ten bands in attendance, all participating bands will advance to finals at this year's sole regional in California. Former national finalist Ayala is the consensus pick to win the regional as they prepare to return to Grand Nationals in just two weeks. Other notable groups and past finalists at other BOA events include Clovis West and Covina, but you can never rule out a surprise from an impressive local group that hasn't been seen at a BOA event previously.
