Vandegrift has been named champion of the San Antonio Super Regional, following a tight prelims competition with three different groups receiving one of the three caption awards. Outside of Texas, South Jones won the Troy Regional, and American Fork won the St. George Regional.

Despite several notable absences in San Antonio, the ultimate Texas competition was as fierce as ever, with Marcus, Vandegrift, and The Woodlands battling it out for the Class AAAA champion and overall chamption title. Vandegrift took the top spot in prelims, with Marcus, and The Woodlands earning second and third. Each of those three also won a caption with Vandegrift winning music, The Woodlands winning visual, and Marcus winning effect.
Ultimately, Vandegrift made the biggest gain in finals, growing their lead to just over a point and adding the effect caption to their bounty. The Woodlands improved their placement to second, maintaining the visual caption award, while Marcus slipped to third.

In St. George, American Fork won a fourth consecutive regional champion title. The band also swept captions racked up a nearly four-point margin of victory.
Second-place Westlake peeled off the visual caption in prelims thanks to a huge margin in their individual visual performance score. Davis finished third.
