Southlake Prelims — Sept. 30, 2017

On Oct. 2, MFA released an updated version of this recap indicating Coppell received a penalty of 0.45 points. we've updated the information below accordingly. However, it's unclear how this penalty was determined. Per the adjudication handbook, all penalties are calculated to the tenth of a point and none are calculated to a half-tenth. The recap released by Music For All incorrectly lists Coppell's prelims score as a 76.50. Using the numbers provided in that recap, and factoring in the penalty, the total score should be 76.45, which would earn the group 11th place instead of tied for 10th. We've reached out to MFA for clarification, but have yet to receive a response. The below recap has been corrected to show accurate total score calculations, but additional changes may occur once we receive a response from MFA.
