The 2019 HEB Marching Contest will be held Sept. 28 at Pennington Field. In 2018, Keller was named champion, defeating Marcus and Prosper.

Brief Preview

Taking place just one weekend before the Bedford BOA Regional at the same venue, this contest is an exciting look at many of the top groups in DFW we'll see compete next week and a month later at San Antonio. With a similar level of adjudicators and participating bands, the HEB Marching Contest really is a regional-caliber event on par with those operate by Music For All.

Returning champion Keller will look to defend their title against returning medalists Marcus and Prosper. But this trio has no guarantee of holding onto their medals with the year's addition of Waxahachie this season. Along with Wakeland, Waxahachie has stayed in a very similar competitive neighborhood as Prosper and will be looking to shake up the order of the top half of finals.

Outside of the top five, returning finalists Aledo, Berkner, Forney, Lewisville, and The Colony will aim to stay in finals facing a new challenge in Keller Central.
