The Castle Band is a former Grand National finalist, a consistent regional and super regional finalist, and a recipient of the Sudler Shield.
In 2017, Castle is expected to compete at the Clarksville Regional, Indianapolis Super Regional, and Grand National Championships.
2017
Castle kicked off its season at the Clarksville Regional, winning a second consecutive title and sweeping captions in prelims and finals over Franklin and North Hardin.In the coming weeks, Castle will compete in Indianapolis at both Indy Super and Grand Nationals.

At Clarksville, Castle narrowly edged out Franklin by less than a half a point. At Indy Super, the group beat Homestead and Marian Catholic in prelims before slipping to seventh in finals.
The band made history with its first national finals appearance. And they weren't just barely in finals, Castle's earned 10th place in semifinals. The top 13 groups advanced to finals.

Castle placed second in both prelims and finals, although they were sandwiched between different groups in each round. In prelims, they placed directly behind Franklin and ahead of Blue Springs South. In finals, O'Fallon claimed the top spot, and this time Castle placed directly ahead of Franklin.
At Indy Super, they continued their successful season placing sixth overall and first in class over fellow class competitor Franklin. While this certainly sounds like a season that could have ended in national finals, they won't be returning to Grand Nats until 2016.
