  1. American Fork? After Saturday shouldn't they be in top 40?

    1. With the weaker regional like Utah it's hard to take scores from any of those shows at face value. In fact historically, Utah is the only show where groups score higher there than they do two weeks later in Indianapolis. Not to mention the comparatively unimpressive resume of the groups that American Fork beat and it's just too hard to make a case for them this year.

    1. In general local circuit scores aren't used. Not only are they looking at different things than the BOA scoring sheets, there's also just so much data out there that you can cherry pick whatever you want and make a case for nearly any band in the country to be ranked if you're willing to look outside of this scope. As a voter, I agree with you as I had them 13th this week, but the no local circuit reasoning is one that I believe most of us adhere to pretty closely.
