The Owasso Band is a former Grand National finalist, a consistent super regional finalist, and a recipient of both the Sudler Flag and the Sudler Shield.
In 2017, Owasso is expected to compete at the Renegade Review, St. Louis Super Regional, and Grand National Championships.
2016

At St. Louis, the group placed third, behind only Broken Arrow and Blue Springs. This also made them the highest-placing group that would attend Grand Nats, and likely the one with the best chances.
Ultimately, no groups from St. Louis advanced to finals, but Owasso's 15th place finish was still the highest of any group from St. Louis. Owasso was less than a point away from a finalist position.
2015
Owasso competed at the San Antonio Super Regional.It was really exciting to see Owasso travel outside of their normal region of competition. At San Antonio, they held their own against many of the top Texas groups. When they return to Grand Nats, they will continue to be a serious contender for a finals position.

The band had an excellent performance at the St. Louis Super Regional, placing fourth overall. The group was as high as second in the music caption ahead of both Blue Springs and Union.
At Grand Nats, Owasso was really close to making finals, but finished in 13th place. That's only a half a point away from finals. Plus, four of the seven judges had Owasso placed in finals.
2013
Owasso's placement is under very similar circumstances to Kennesaw Mountain; Player 2 was a fun show that did well in 2013 and placed third at St. Louis and second at OBA behind Broken Arrow, but we didn't get to see them again all season. This year, we'll get to see Owasso back at Grand Nats and get a better idea of how far behind Broken Arrow they really are. We still remember how Fix You rang throughout Lucas Oil during 2011 Finals!
