The 2021 Conroe Regional was held Sept. 25 at Woodforest Bank Stadium. The Woodlands won this early season regional, winning awards for best music, best visual, and best general effect. You can read our in-depth analysis of the results here.
After years of maxed-out enrollment at Houston regionals in Conroe and Katy, this was the first year for two separate events in the Houston area. While it seemd likely that some groups would try to attend both Houston regionals, it appears most chose one or the other. That along with this year's expansion of finals to 12 groups has resulted in more than a few new finalists at both events.
