Centerville competed at the Muncie Regional, Indianapolis Super Regional, and Grand National Championships.

In Muncie, the band won their 19th regional champion title, beating Fishers and the newly formed combination Lincoln-Way band. They didn't sweep captions, but they did win music and general effect. Just a few weeks later in Indianapolis, Centerville found themselves on the outside of Indianapolis Finals, with groups that had previously outscored like Fishers making finals with ease. At Grand Nationals, Centerville found themselves back ahead of Fishers. They earned 14th place in prelims, just 0.15 of a point ahead of Fishers and earning a spot in semifinals. In semifinals, Centerville finished 20th.

2018

Centerville competed at the Oxford Regional, Indianapolis Super Regional, and Grand National Championships.

The band kicked off the season with a second place finish at the Oxford Regional behind reigning national champion Carmel. While the gap from Carmel to Centerville may have seemed large, the equally large gap from Centerville to third-place Lake Central was a good sign for the rest of the season. At Indy Super, Centerville fell a bit short of their recent trend of mid to upper half of finals. The band was 12th, earning a score that tied with Brownsburg. While it was looking like we could see another 2016, with Centerville sitting on the outside of semifinals, the band was able to grab a spot as one of the next 8 bands in semis. They finished 26th overall.

2017

Centerville competed at the Toledo Regional, Indianapolis Super Regional, and Grand National Championships.

In Toledo, Centerville has a strong third place finish behind Homestead and William Mason. After missing semifinals at Grand Nationals in 2016, it was good to see the band back at a medalist level. Indianapolis faired similar to last year, with the band earning a spot in the top half of finals. There was quite a bit of uncertainty. Would they continue the momentum into a semifinals appearance in three weeks, or would they fall just short as they did last season? This year, Centerville was comforably in semifinals, placing just a few spots out of finals in 18th.

Centerville competed at the Dayton Regional, Indianapolis Super Regional, and Grand National Championships.

At Dayton, the group had a good start, finishing third behind Carmel and Prospect. They were able to turn that momentum into a top half finish at Indy Super. However, the next weekend at Grand Nats, they fell slightly short of the placement needed to advance to semifinals.
